INTERNATIONAL NEWS Indo-Kazakhstan Joint Army Exercise ‘KAZIND’ will be conducted between theIndian and Kazakhstan Army from 10 to 23 Sep 2018 in Otar region, Kazakhstan. This is the third joint military exercise between the two countries which have a history of extensive cooperation in the defence arena. The second edition of the exercise was held in India. The aim of the exercise is to build and promote bilateral Army to Army relations and exchange skills and experiences between Kazakhstan Army and the Indian Army. The International Women Entrepreneurs Summit 2018 is being held in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Vice President of Nepal Nanda Bahadur Pun inaugurated the summit. ECONOMY National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs335 crore under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) to West Bengal. Mauritius remained the top source of foreign direct investment (FDI) into India in 2017-18 followed by Singapore, whereas total FDI stood at $37.36 billion in the financial year, a marginal rise over the $36.31 billion recorded in the previous fiscal, according to RBI data. The Reserve Bank of India directed all scheduled commercial banks with more than10 branches to appoint an internal ombudsman. Regional rural banks are not included in this directive. This was done to ensure that the complaints of the customers are redressed.
