இந்திய நிகழ்வுகள் மும்பையில் உள்ள சத்திரபதி சிவாஜி சர்வதேச விமான நிலையத்தின் பெயரை சத்திரபதி சிவாஜி “மஹாராஜ்” சர்வதேச விமான நிலையமாக பெயர் மாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.குறிப்பு:மும்பை விமான நிலையம் முதலில் சஹார் சர்வதேச விமான நிலையமாக அறியப்பட்டது. அதன்பின், 1999ம் ஆண்டு சத்ரபதி சிவாஜி சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் என பெயர் மாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தில் நீர்பாசனம் மற்றும் அமைப்பின் திறன் ஆகியவற்றை விரிவுப்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் விவசாயிகளின் வருமானத்தை அதிகப்படுத்துவதற்காக $375 மில்லியன் மதிப்புடைய கடன் ஒப்பந்தத்தில் மத்திய அரசாங்கம் மற்றும் ஆசிய வளர்ச்சி வங்கி ஆகியவை இணைந்து கையெழுத்திட்டுள்ளன. மத்திய மின்சாரத்துறை மற்றும் புதுப்பிக்கக்கூடிய ஆற்றல் அமைச்சகத்தின் இணை அமைச்சர் R.K. சிங் ‘இந்திய மின் அமைப்பிற்கான வானிலைத் தகவல் வாயில்’ என்ற ஆவணத்தை வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்.மின்துறையின் அனைத்து பிரிவுகளிலும் வானிலை வாயிலின் மேம்பட்ட பயன்பாட்டை அளிப்பதற்காக IMD (India Meteorological Department) உடன் இணைந்து POSOCO (Power System Operation Corporation) இந்த ஆவணத்தை தயாரித்துள்ளது. உலக நிகழ்வுகள் நான்காவது சர்வதேச ஆயூர்வேதா மாநாடு ஆயூர்வேத அமைச்சர் Shripad Yesso Naik (Minister of State For AYUSH) தலைமையில் நெதர்லாந்தில் நடைபெற்றுள்ளது.இம்மாநாட்டில் “ஆயூர்வேதம் உட்பட, “சுகாதாரத்தில் ஒத்துழைப்பு” என்ற தலைப்பில் சிறப்பு கருத்தரங்கு இந்திய தூதரகம் சார்பில் நடத்தப்பட்டது. வங்கக்கடலையொட்டி அமைந்துள்ள இந்தியா, வங்கதேசம், பூடான், மியான்மர், நேபாளம், இலங்கை, தாய்லாந்து ஆகிய நாடுகள் பல்வேறு தொழில்நுட்பம் பொருளாதார ஒத்துழைப்புக்காக ‘BIMSTEC’ என்ற அமைப்பை 1997-ல் உருவாக்கி உள்ளன.ஆண்டுக்கு ஒருமுறை நடத்தப்படும் BIMSTEC மாநாடு, அதன் தலைமை பொறுப்பு வகிக்கும் நாடுகளில் நடைபெறும்.2018ம் ஆண்டின் தலைமை பொறுப்பு வகித்த நேபாளத்தில் சமீபத்தில் 4-வது BIMSTEC மாநாடு நடைபெற்றது.5வது BIMSTEC மாநாடு – 2019ல் இலங்கையில் நடைபெறுவதை அடுத்து, தலைமை பொறுப்பு இலங்கை அதிபர் மைத்திரிபால சிறிசேனாவிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்தியா மற்றும் ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியம் இணைந்து, உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள மக்களை பாதுகாப்பதற்காக அடுத்த தலைமுறை இன்புளுயின்சா தடுப்பு மருந்தை தயாரிப்பதற்காக ஹாரிசான் – 2020 என்ற ஆராய்ச்சி திட்டத்தை தொடங்கியுள்ளது. அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பம் இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனமானது துருவநிலை செயற்கைகோள் ஏவு வாகனம் (PSLV – Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) மற்றும் சிறிய செயற்கைகோள் ஏவு வாகனம் (SSLV – Small Satellite Launch Vehicle) ஆகியவற்றை உற்பத்தி செய்யும் பணியை தனியார் நிறுவனங்களிடம் ஒப்படைக்கவுள்ளது.திறன் கட்டமைப்பில் தனியார் நிறுவனங்கள் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கும் என இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவர் K. சிவன் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். மத்திய அரசாங்கமானது அறிவியல், தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் புத்தாக்கத்திற்காக பிரதம அமைச்சரின் அறிவியல், தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் புத்தாக்க ஆலோசனைக் குழுவை அமைத்துள்ளது. இக்குழுவில் 21 உறுப்பினர்கள் உள்ளனர்.இக்குழுவிற்கு PM-STAC – [Prime Minister’s Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council] எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.இதன் தலைவராக முதன்மை அறிவியல் ஆலோசகர் K. விஜயராகவன் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். நியமனங்கள் உச்சநீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதி தீபக் மிஸ்ரா, அக்டோபர் 02-ம் தேதி ஓய்வு பெறுவதை அடுத்து, அடுத்த உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாக மூத்த நீதிபதி ரஞ்சன் கோகாய் என்பவரை நியமிக்குமாறு தீபக் மிஸ்ரா குடியரசுத் தலைவரிடம் பரிந்துரை செய்துள்ளார்.குறிப்புதீபக் மிஸ்ரா 45வது உச்சநீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதியாக 28 ஆகஸ்ட் 2017ல் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
